Crowd City is an interesting browser game that falls in the arcade category. The game comes with appealing 3D graphics and offers multiplayer gameplay options. The primary objective is to wander around in a city to gather huge crowds. Eventually, you become the leader by eliminating either other players or building the biggest following before the timer runs out.
Multiplayer gameplay, excellent graphics, and more
At the beginning of the game, you can select a color for your character. This helps you identify your specific crowd once things start looking cluttered on the map. Crowd City lets you choose from nine colors. Once you’re ready, you need to click the ‘Play’ button to begin the competition.
Like other arcade games in this category, you can find several other players on the map. Everyone has the same objective, i.e., to build the largest following. In the beginning of the game, you’re the only person on the map. Your main targets are the white-colored folks walking around the city. In order to acquire these followers, you only need to move closer to them.
Right on top of the crowd, the game lets you know the number of people in your crowd. It’s important to keep an eye on this number, since it changes rapidly. When you have a larger crowd than another player, you can acquire his or her followers as well. Additionally, you can acquire undecided residents roaming around in the city.
Throughout the game, you can see a timer located in the upper left corner of the browser window. When it runs out, the player with the largest crowd wins the game. In the upper right corner, there’s a scoreboard listing everyone’s standing at the end of the game.
